Clay masks
Pick me if you have oily and acne-prone skin
Clay masks have been proven to remove toxins. They’re great if you’re prone to acne, but not so much if you have dry skin.
Sheet masks
Pick me if you have normal and dry skin
We have South Korea (or K-beauty) to thank for sheet masks. They enhance your skin and they do it fast.
Gel masks
Pick me if you have normal and oily skin
We love gel masks because they have a gently calming effect on your skin—something we could all use more of right now
Cream masks
Pick me if you have normal and dry skin
Cream masks deliver an intense hydration boost and are ideal for dehydrated skin….
Overnight masks
Pick me if you have mature skin
Overnight masks improve the appearance of your skin while you sleep. Wake up to brighter, more youthful-looking skin!
P.P.S. If you’re trying a face mask for the first time, then we recommend testing a small amount of it to see if you have a reaction.

Facial massage
Skin specialists swear by facial massage. Here’s why:
- It pumps blood and oxygen—and with it, tons of yummy nutrients—to your skin.
- It wakes up a complexion that’s lacklustre and tired.
- It drains toxins and relieves tension in your facial muscles.
The result is a glowing and more youthful appearance. Goodbye puffy skin and hello front cover of a magazine!
FOREO’s collection of LUNA skincare devices have a massage mode so you can get professional results from the comfort of your own home. To get the most out of your LUNA, download the FOREO app and follow the simple instructions to select 1 of 4 guided massage treatments:

Here are their tips on how to (properly) use it:
Step 1: Wet your hands with warm water.
Step 2: Apply soap.
Step 3: Wash your hands for at least 20 seconds (including your palms, the back of each hand, between your fingers, and under your nails).
Step 4: Rinse well.
Step 5: Dry your hands well with a paper towel.
Step 6: Turn off the tap using a paper towel (especially if you’re in a public space).
Step 7: Put enough Optiphi Hand Sanitiser on your hands to cover all surfaces.
Step 8: Rub your hands together until they feel dry (around 20 seconds).
Salon-inspired peels
There’s nothing like the big reveal waiting for you after a face peel. Picture this: an instantly fresher, healthier-looking complexion. Some say it’s magic, but we know better. Peels exfoliate and renew your skin by removing dead skin cells and excess sebum.
See it to believe it:
- Natural fruit enzymes
Pumpkin, papaya, and pineapple smooth and clarify
- BHAs and AHAs
Salicylic, glycolic, and lactic acids unclog pores and remove dead skin cells
Stay safe. Stay in. Treat your skin.
Yours in skin,
Dr Alek and the SkinMiles Team
HIi, what can you use to massage your skin? and if you are acne prone and cannot use oils to massage your skin, what is the alternative? How many seconds should one cleanse their skin am and pm? Thanks
Hi Veroshar thank you for the question. Considering you have acne prone skin my recommendation would be to use a salicylic acid based solution or cream to massage the face. Examples include sk.in pure, Clenziderm Pore Therapy, DERCA Anti-Oil AHA BHA Moisturiser, and DERMAQUEST DermaClear Serum. I would cleanse the face between 30 to 60 seconds in the am and the pm. I hope this has helped. Kind regards Dr Alek Nikolic.
