How to use

How to use

Cleanse skin with SkinCeuticals cleanser appropriate to skin type. Dispense 1-2 pumps of Resveratrol B E and apply to clean skin. Follow with the application of SkinCeuticals correct product appropriate to skin type/condition. Except with use of retinoids as these are to be applied to the skin first. Apply SkinCeuticals moisturiser, appropriate to skin type, as needed.

Medical interest in this compound sparked when it was postulated that resveratrol may be responsible for the low incidence of heart disease seen in the French population whose diet is high in saturated fat.  This phenomenon, coined by Dr. Serge Renaud and Dr. Michel de Lorgerial as the French Paradox, was attributed to a moderate intake of red wine. Since that time, resveratrol has been the subject of vigorous on-going research to confirm its health and anti-aging benefits.

Studies have shown that resveratrol binds to numerous cell-signaling molecules allowing it to modulate beneficial health effects through multiple pathways.  Resveratrol has anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activity. It also acts as a vasodilator, platelet inhibitor and has important cardio protective effects. Recent studies have suggested that resveratrol may also be effective when applied topically to treat aged skin.

    I’ve tried doing without it as it’s quite pricey , but I really can’t and a little goes along way … one pump fir my entire face … there’s such a difference when I use this and when I don’t … it really gives your skin elasticity and your skin just bounces !

    Great night serum. I apply after cleansing. Wait 20 mins – apply retinol. Wait 10 mins – apply Metacell renewal. My skin feels smoother – after a few weeks it looks more plumped out. Acne scars seemed to have lightened a bit. The serum feels like it’s feeding and evening out the surface of your skin. The price tag might seem steep but it lasts a long time – and is great value for money. You won’t regret this one.

    I love this serum and use it every evening. I notice if I don’t use it. The bottle isn’t great and in order to get all the product out at the end I have to get the little sack out and cut it. Its not ideal as there is some waste and at this price tag there shouldn’t be. But functionally its a brilliant night serum.
