How to use

Night-time use only.

Apply to cleansed, dry skin at night before any other moisturiser or serum.
Use one full pump to cover the entire face.
Wait for sk.in flash to be completely absorbed before applying any other topical products, such as sk.in bounce and sk.in marvel.
Remember to always apply an SPF of 30 or higher that contains Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide the following morning.

If this is your first time using sk.in flash, please follow the introductory phase skin regime instructions below.

The introductory phase skin regime

Use every third night for the first two weeks, followed by every second night for an additional two weeks.
If no skin reaction occurs continue to apply sk.in flash every night.
Start with the lowest strength first flash 1 (0.6%), and slowly move up to the higher strengths of Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate in flash 2 and flash 3 (1.0% and 2.0%).
If any sensitivity is experienced, stop using the product until the skin has completely recovered, then repeat the introductory phase described above.
Your skin will then begin to acclimatize to the Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate.
Always use a sunblock with an SPF of 30 or higher that contains Zinc Oxide and/or Titanium Dioxide during the day when using this product.

Formulation properties:

Level 1 – Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (Granactive Retinol) 0.6%, Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate 2% (BVOSC lipid soluble Vitamin C), Vitamin E 2%, Ceramides 2%, and Hyaluronic Acid Complex 5%.

All sk.in flash products are designed to deliver a potent repair shot and counteract the signs of UV sun damage and intrinsic skin ageing. Specifically designed for improving skin texture and hydration, sk.in flash minimizes pore size, increases collagen production, diminishes pigmentation, and improves fine lines and wrinkles. sk.in flash can be used by all skin types. sk.in flash 1 has been specifically designed to act as an introductory anti-ageing and repair shot for the skin that minimizes any side effects and prepares the skin for flash 2. sk.in flash 1 can be used by all skin types and contains a Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate strength of 0.6%.

Skin types: dry, normal, combination, oily, acne, sensitive.

Skin condition: fine lines and wrinkles, textured skin, hyperpigmentation, mature skin, sallow and dull complexion, oily or acne prone skin.

Application: evening application.

The ingredient formula combines Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate, Vitamins C & E, Ceramides, and Hyaluronic Acid. These ingredients have a combined affect in reducing the signs of ageing including fine lines and wrinkles, repairing the skin barrier, diminishing hyperpigmentation, protecting the skin against environmental free radical damage, and improving hydration.

sk.in flash 1 will last 2.5 to 3 months if the recommended regime is followed with a single daily use. This product spreads very easily so only 1 pump is required for the entire face. Please see product insert for further info on how to apply.

*no parabens have been used in sk.in formulations.

Warnings & Precautions

Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate is an active ingredient that may sensitise the skin with overuse. Dr. Alek Nikolic recommends that you introduce this product slowly into your skin care regime. sk.in flash must not be used if pregnant, breast feeding, planning to become pregnant, or using oral Vitamin A medication (such as Roaccutane). Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate can increase skin sensitivity to the sun, so remember to always apply an SPF of 30 or higher during the day.

This product is insane. It’s a miracle in a bottle, with zero irritation. I’m amazed at how my skin has improved. This one was an investment product for sure, and I was hesitant at first because of the price tag but I have no regrets! I have had no adverse reactions so far, and I use it in conjunction with AHA exfoliator. Excited to graduate to Flash 2! I’m just sad I didn’t start using it sooner.

I have been using this product for awhile now, firstly great product and will away be part of my night time regime.
I comment previously concerning the old pump bottle which I wasnot really happy with.
The wonderful team at Skinmiles especially Olivera and Dr Alek sent me a replacement which is now package in a much nicer and easier pump bottle.
No more wastage of product. Great customer service and they literally go to any lengths to satisfy their customers.

Excellent starter retinol – I had almost no irritation; only a few very smaller dryer than usual patches that went away quickly. The writing can rub off on the packaging, but that has no effect on the product of course. I enjoyed it so much that I absolutely couldn’t wait to level up to flash 2.
