L-Ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, prevents premature aging and damage to the skin cells a sit plays a vital role in collagen synthesis, promoting skin firmness and elasticity. It also helps to inhibit the production of melanin, reducing the appearance of dark spots and promoting a more even skin tone. L-Ascorbic acid supports the healing process of the skin, aiding in tissue repair and the synthesis of new skin cells. Fade Plus helps, at many levels, to block the biochemical cascade that leads to pigmentation issues. This is achieved by blocking the production and activity of tyrosinase, the enzyme that leads to the production of melanin. Fade Plus version contains 8% L-Ascorbic Acid as well as tyrosinase inhibitors such as Kojic acid, Alpha Arbutin and Glutathione. This serum is recommended for those who prefer and can tolerate a strong Vitamin C serum.
