CBD accelerates cellular turnover in the epidermis, promoting enzyme, fillagrin and ceramide production – all of which are important for a healthy skin. At this concentration of CBD, genes are up and down-regulated (over 500 genes are affected!). Examples:

• Up-regulation in fibroblasts enhances the production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid and fibronectin
• In sebocytes, lipid synthesis is either up- or down-regulated
• In melanocytes, melanin production is down-regulated
• Inflammation markers are down-regulated

With added neuro-peptide, N-Acetyl-Tyrosyl-Arginyl-Hexadecyl Ester – based on the Tyr-Arg peptide that occurs naturally in the body.
