How to use
Resistant skin – able to tolerate the product in it’s most potent form:
- Use morning and evening.
- Apply on dry skin. You may slightly damp your fingers to help with spreading. If you apply your cleanser on dry skin, you are able to circulate the cleanser over your eyes without burning or stinging.
- Keep the cleanser on for 5 minutes or longer.
- Remove the cleanser with a clean, lukewarm face cloth. This will also help to remove excess makeup and loose peeling skin.
Sensitive skin – not able to tolerate the product in it’s most potent form yet:
- Use only in the evening. Only rinse your face with clean water in the morning. If you have loose peeling skin, wipe your face with a lukewarm face cloth in the morning. This will help to remove this loose dead skin.
- Apply cleanser on wet face. This will help to neutralize the cleanser to decrease the potency. Do not apply over your eyes.
- Keep the cleanser on for 1 minute or shorter.
- Remove the cleanser with a clean, lukewarm face cloth. This will also help to remove excess makeup and loose peeling skin
Normal reactions that may occur include stinging or burning, skin peeling, or skin irritation. Follow the sensitive skin guidelines to manage initial irritation reaction.

The Medi Zinc Cleanser is such a great product, especially for those big nasty horrible acne spots that sometimes get nastily infected ! I got this for my teenage son who now can’t and won’t go without it … It really cleanses the face so nicely and gets rid of the excess bacteria which lingers on his face – no doubt from having to wear a mask all day too … He uses the cleanser in conjunction with the Acne Repair Serum which has nothing but considerably improved the appearance and texture of his skin overall. I can honestly vouch that these are really amazing and affordable products! I will recommend it a hundred times over … I’m really Super chuffed !

I was recommended this product by the SkinMiles team when during lockdown I suffered from maskne and general breakouts. The cleanser is quite strong and if you leave it on you will feel a tingling sensation and tightening of the skin. I only use it occasionally but I am happy with its performance. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because the packaging leads to massive losses in product when opening it, and that is regretful. I would appreciate if this feedback is provided to the manufacturer so that they can improve on this aspect, as it is a non-negotiable to not have packaging that leads to wasteful expenditure.
