ARA is a South African start-up that cares about body and soul. Imphepho, also known as Kooigoed and African Sage, has been steam extracted and added to their quality soap bars.  Imphepho has been used in South African traditional medicine for generations. It is believed to protect, nourish and cleanse both body and soul. Ara is currently working with small scale farmers, assisting them to grow Imphepho so they can become their long-term suppliers. By using indigenous plants Ara is ensuring that they are sustainable and respectful to our local habitat and to South Africa’s soil.
