Glycolic Acid (a member of Alpha-Hydroxy Acids – AHA’s): Gently removes dead skin cells from the skin’s surface by breaking down the bonds that hold them together. This allows fresh, healthy cells to emerge. With its exfoliating action, it prevents the accumulation of sebum in the pores, reducing the appearance of blackheads.
Salicylic Acid and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid (members of Beta-Hydroxy Acids – BHA’s): Due to their lipid-soluble nature, they penetrate deeper into the skin, cleansing the pores of excess sebum. At the same time, they enhance the deeper action of Glycolic Acid. The result? A smooth, radiant, and hydrated complexion with a strong skin barrier.
Niacinamide – the water-soluble form of Vitamin B3: Helps the skin retain necessary moisture. It also soothes and reduces irritation and inflammation.
Bio-Polysaccharide: Binds water and forms a film on the skin, preventing dehydration.
