Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil: It is used as a topically treatment to encourage the regrowth of hair in people who are balding. Jojoba soothes skin and unclogs hair follicles. There is an interest in using jojoba as unclogged hair follicles are more likely to produce new hair. Jojoba oil is natural and provides added protection against dryness, breakage, and split ends. The oil can also moisturize the scalp and is an anti-bacterial and a dandruff remedy. Jojoba is rich in vitamins and minerals that nourish hair, including vitamin C, B vitamins, vitamin E, copper, and zinc. Because it strengthens hair, it is also thought that jojoba oil can prevent hair loss and promote hair thickness.
