SkinCeutical A.G.E. Interrupter Advanced is a potent anti-wrinkle cream that helps correct and defend against visible signs of aging. Formulated with 18% concentrated ProxylaneTM, 4.25% wild Fruit Flavonoid blend of Blueberry and Pomegranate Extracts, and 0.1% Glycyrrhetinic Acid, this breakthrough corrective cream is clinically proven to smooth visible lines and deep wrinkles in five facial zones targeted for aesthetic procedures. Twice daily, massage a thin, even layer of A.G.E. Interrupter Advanced anti-wrinkle cream onto the entire face, neck, and chest.
If using in the morning, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C antioxidant serum and before a sunscreen.
If using with a retinol at night, apply after retinol application.
Collagen and elastin are responsible for skin’s youthful look. While many factors contribute to signs of aging in the skin, glycation of these structural proteins plays a significant role.
Glycation is a natural, multi-phase process that occurs when excess sugar molecules bind to proteins, including collagen and elastin, and form damaging byproducts known as advanced glycation end-products (A.G.E.s). External aggressors – such as UV, pollution, and diet – accelerate the glycation process, transforming collagen and elastin into A.G.E.s.
A.G.E.s turn flexible proteins rigid and brittle, making newly glycated collagen lose its critical regenerative ability. Once formed, these damaged proteins cannot be repaired or replaced, which ultimately weakens skin integrity and results in visible signs of aging including wrinkles, crepiness, sagging, and dullness.

The consistency is odd, different to most moisturisers I have used – more buttery than creamy. It does absorb well, though. I will probably get used to it. Pleasing, subtle fragrance.
