All sk.in avenge | HPR products are specifically formulated for at-home use and during professional treatments. sk.in avenge | HPR comes in three strengths (3%, 4%, 5%) to help your skin acclimatise to the high concentrations of prescription strength active cosmeceutical ingredients.

Formulation properties:

The ingredient formula combines high concentrations of hydroxypinacolone retinoate with hyaluronic acid and acetyl hexapeptide-8, and is aimed as a high strength at-home application skin treatment.

These ingredients have a combined effect in reducing and preventing the signs of intrinsic skin ageing, repairing the skin barrier, diminishing hyperpigmentation, protecting the skin against environmental free radical damage, and improving hydration.

Acetyl hexapeptide-8 (argireline) is a peptide that has both skin restoring and water binding capabilities. Hyaluronic acid acts by binding to water molecules and helps to repair and maintain the skin barrier.

Hydroxypinacolone retinoate (HPR) is an ester of retinoic acid and binds directly to the skin retinoic acid receptors which minimizes the chance of reactions. HPR has several benefits on the skin including preventing and treating ageing skin concerns, smoothing textured skin, increasing hydration, reducing hyperpigmentation, and minimizing pore size and sebum production.

The formulation is designed to be used only once or twice weekly to achieve visible results when used in conjunction with the rest of the sk.in serum range. A 1 ml treatment application will last 2–4 months depending on frequency of weekly application.
