Vitamin C FPB serum is ideal for brightening, detoxifying and antiaging. It contains the powerful antioxidant and antiaging, L-ascorbic acid, French pine bark, glutathione and ferulic acid that assists in hydration, elasticity, reduces pigmentation and detoxes the skin from free radicals. Contains 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% French Pine Bark Extract, 1% Glutathione and 1% Ferulic Acid.

How to use

Use AM or PM

Avoid use around eyes. Use sun protection in the AM.
Apply after cleansing the face and before moisturiser.

• Using the pipette, dispense an adequate amount of serum into your clean hand to cover your whole face and neck – a little goes along way
• Gently rub the serum into the skin
• Allow to full absorb into the skin before applying anything on top of the serum

French Pine Bark Extract is a bright red colour and may stain pillowcases and clothes, thus it is important to encapsulate the serum with a moisturiser.
Ensure to exfoliate weekly to prevent the product from oxidising in enlarged pores.

Combines the powerful effects of L-ascorbic acid (antioxidant and collagen stimulant), with the proven benefits of French Pine Bark (FPB) extract, Glutathione (also a powerful antioxidant) and Ferulic Acid (a potent antioxidant that helps fight free radical damage. Although it provides skin benefits when used alone, studies have shown that Vitamins C enhances its effect. Ferulic Acid can also offer some protection from UV rays and help prevent sun damage but is not a substitute for sunscreen).

Some of the many benefits of FPB:
• Significantly improves the hydration (~8%) and elasticity (~30%) of skin
• Significantly increases mRNA expression of hyaluronic acid synthase-1 and collagen de novo synthesis
• Skin roughness is significantly lowered
• Improves visible signs of cutaneous ageing
• Inhibits the activity of MMP-1, MMP- and MMP-9 (enzymes that degrade collagen)
• Protects from UV radiation
• Prevents inflammatory and immune-suppressive activities
• Reduces average pigmentary intensity
• Decreases the average melasma area
• Inhibits tyrosinase activity and melanin synthesis
• Shows a reduction in the deposition of this pigment after irradiation
