The CBD Hydrating Serum is indicated for dry and distressed skin, that needs extra hydration. The combination of squalane with vitamin F esters and caprylic triglycerides provide additional wound healing, anti-inflammatory and skin barrier repair benefits without imparting an oily feel.

How to use

How to use

Use AM or PM.

Use as required, especially on dry areas.
Apply after cleansing and before moisturiser.

• Using the pipette, dispense an adequate amount of serum into your clean hand to cover your whole face and neck –
a little goes along way.
• Gently rub the serum into the skin.
• Allow to full absorb into the skin before applying anything on top of the serum.

Suggested for use on top of serums, before moisturiser but may be mixed into moisturisers, drop-wise, to achieve a more nourishing moisturiser.

Particularly beneficial for reducing inflammation and for use on sensitive, dry skins. Its ingredients collectively offer a range of benefits, including enhanced hydration, improved skin barrier function and repair, with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial effects. The CBD in this serum is non psychoactive and is effective in treating acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

The level of CBD provided upregulates approx. 480 genes and down-regulates approx. 50 genes in the skin, with implications for epidermal barrier formation, inflammation and immune response, wound healing, growth factor stimulation, skin barrier integrity, pigmentation, acne regulation, anti-aging and cell renewal, in this order. 4-tert-Butylcyclohexanone calms irritated skin and reduces redness and swelling. The combination of squalane with vitamin F esters and capric/caprylic triglycerides provide additional wound healing, anti-inflammatory and skin barrier repair benefits without imparting an oily feel.

    I usually use the hydrating serum from Optoderm and tried this one due to the extra benefits for acne and inflammation.
    I apply it after my retinol and it keeps my skin hydrated without feeing oily, as I have very oily skin. It also assists in preventing any irritation and drying out from the retinol use. Will definitely purchase again.
    The normal hydrating serum is just as good, especially for the price point.
