How to use
Apply to the face, hands and/or body in the morning, and use in the evening as tolerated. Daily use of sunscreen is recommended.
This product contains an Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Great product and value for money! It also helps a lot for the prevention of ingrown hairs on legs.

I see this in the beginning when o started Neostrata so my opinion is that it preps the skin for the more stronger products but is necessary to build up to a stronger glycolic acid. I used inbetween sometimes when I felt I needed extra moisture

I have oily skin and with that comes a mild acne. This product was recommended by my dermatologist and I have hated it.
I wish my dermatologist had warned me that it would sting my skin.
Putting it on for the first time, and even continuing with the use of it for 3+ weeks, I still feel a burning sensation (feels like a mild skin peel) every time I put this on my face. For a first-time user of AHA, I would definitely recommend a lower concentration.

Hi Sinead and thank you for the feedback. The NeoStrata Ultra Smoothing product you were recommended by your dermatologist is recommended for first time users however some of us may be sensitive even to lower concentrations of the glycolic and citric acid. Considering you have oily skin with mild acne it may be a good idea to look at the NEOSTRATA Sheer Hydration SPF 35 as it does not contain any alphahydroxy acids: https://skinmiles.com/product/neostrata-sheer-hydration-spf-35/ or alternatively please take the Face2Face Assessment: https://skinmiles.com/face2face/ which will allow me to assess your skin and from there we can decide what the best treatment options would be. I hope this has helped but let me know if you need any further info. Kind regards Dr Alek Nikolic.
