A water-based, light and silky textured cream that offers a soft finish while providing a high level of broad-spectrum protection plus age-fighting antioxidants. Decreases your risk of skin cancers and skin precancers. Regular daily use of SPF sunscreen can reduce your risk of developing squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) by about 40 percent, and lower your melanoma risk by 50 percent. UV radiation causes skin to age in several ways. Stem cells to die off, leading to thinning and wrinkling of the skin. Exposure to UV radiation activates enzymes called matrix metalloproteinases which break down collagen, and enzyme called cathepsin K. Cathepsin K breaks down elastin. These important proteins help hold your skin together by keeping it firm and elastic. As they get broken down, your skin loses its structure and flexibility, causing skin ageing symptoms like wrinkles, saggy skin, and spider veins.
Ensulizole: also known as 2-phenylbenzimidazole-5-sulfonic acid, is a water-soluble sunscreen agent that absorbs strongly at UV-B wavelengths.
Octocrylene: a globally-approved sunscreen agent that protects skin from the UVB range of sunlight.
Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane: has the ability to absorb ultraviolet light over a wide range of wavelengths and then convert it to less damaging infrared radiation (heat).
Methylene Bis-Benzotriazolyl Tetramethylbutylphenol: or Bisoctrizole is a broad-spectrum ultraviolet radiation absorber, absorbing UVB as well as UVA rays. It also reflects and scatters UV.
Polysilicone-15: is an organic compound that absorbs ultraviolet (UV) light.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that may be effective at reducing UV damage in skin. Vitamin E applied topically may help nourish and protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals.
Rosa Centifolia Flower Oil: Rosa centifolia contains a few vitamins and antioxidants that help moisturize dry skin. Its astringent properties help tighten pores and reduce the redness and inflammation due to distended capillaries. Rosa Centifolia contains up to 63% phenylethanol that gives the flower its antiseptic properties to treat acne and control skin diseases such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. The rose’s essential oil has also been studied and found to help in healing wounds.

An everyday must use on my face before going out as it protects the skin from sun. It is clear and does not show on your face and can be used more than once in a day especially if you sweat alot. A good safe product to use even on it’s own.

If it was edible, I’d indulge. It’s so creamy, my skin doesn’t feel and look dry anymore. My face is hydrated and moisturised throughout the day. That was a bonus for my aging skin.

Such a pleasure to use this, light, non greasy and no strong sunscreen smell.
