Collagen Type X is a remarkable collagen derived from the eggshell membrane that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine practices, particularly in East Asia. It supports joint health, alleviates pain, reduces inflammation, and promotes skin health. It is also believed to have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties, which make it a valuable ingredient in our formula. Due to its high bioavailability and ability to target specific areas, it is incredibly effective.
Added Hyaluronic Acid (Ha) We use an awarding winning Hyaluronic Acid in our Multi-Collagen formula (HAPLEX®Plus) that is clinically proven to improve skin elasticity and decrease symptoms of degenerative osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Haplex®Plus is a pure, validated source of HA that supports a healthy and happy ageing process.
Type 1 Collagen This is the most prevalent type of collagen found within the body, offering substantial support to skin, bones, and tendons. It is a fundamental building block for maintaining skin’s structural integrity, promoting both strength and elasticity. This collagen type is also critical for bone health, contributing to bone density and resilience.
Type 2 Collagen Is primarily found in cartilage, making it essential for joint health and flexibility. This type of collagen helps to maintain the integrity of cartilage, providing cushion and support to joints, thereby reducing the risk of joint pain and degeneration. Supplementation with Type II collagen can be particularly beneficial for individuals experiencing joint issues or those looking to support their joint health proactively, such as athletes or the elderly.
Type 3 Collagen Supports the structure of muscles, organs, and arteries, alongside Type I collagen in skin. It’s crucial for maintaining skin elasticity and firmness, contributing to a youthful appearance. Type III is also involved in the formation of blood vessels and tissues within the heart, highlighting its importance in cardiovascular health, making it valuable for holistic health and anti-aging strategies.
