The intensive moisturizing treatment series combines an innovative triple active formula for minimizing moisture-deficient skin. While a potent tripeptide stimulates the skin’s natural Hyaluronic Acid synthesis and polyglutamic acid collects moisture on the skin’s surface, the powerful complex of ten multi-dimensional Hyaluronic Acids binds moisture in the skin. Once a day for 7 days, apply the 2 ml ampoule to the face, neck, and décolleté after cleansing and massage into the skin applying light pressure with the fingertips. Shake the ampoule and cover the neck of the ampoule with a cosmetic tissue or the enclosed ampoule opener. Hold the ampoule by the neck of the ampoule or the opener and break it open at the black ring with a quick snap. Next, preferably continue with the Hydro Replenishing Gel Cream or any other Babor care product.

With age and under the influence of harmful environmental factors, the skin loses its ability to synthesize hyaluronic acid itself. To counteract this process, which can set in as early as the age of twenty, the powerful HY 3 peptide (2.5%) stimulates the skin’s natural synthesis of hyaluronan in the extracellular matrix to boost firmness. In addition, it increases the production of essential proteins that strengthen the collagen fibers, resulting in visibly firmer, more plump, and contoured skin.
Thanks to its broad range in sizes, the unique composition of 10 high and low molecular weight as well as cross-linked hyaluronic acid variants creates a moisturizing effect never before achieved at BABOR. The new, innovative micro hyaluronic acid with a molecular weight of only 5000 daltons is a natural human disaccharide that settles in the deep areas of the epidermis, storing moisture there and improving the visible signs of aging deeper than ever before in a BABOR formula. Additional low molecular weight hyaluronic acids penetrate the skin and promote moisture absorption and retention at different epidermal levels, improving skin elasticity and firmness. High molecular weight hyaluronic acids remain on the surface of the skin, where they form a moisturizing film. This film protects the skin against moisture loss through evaporation and other osmotic processes. Moisture is stored in the skin for a long time, transepidermal water loss (TEWL) is reduced, and the moisture content equilibrium is sustainably optimized.
The polyglutamic acid (0.5% content), a natural polymer obtained via a biotechnical process through the fermentation of soybeans, is characterized by its unusual effect as a humectant in the skin. Polyglutamic acid forms a protective film on the surface of the skin to minimize moisture loss and boost the skin’s ability to store moisture (retention). Thanks to these water-binding properties, PGA can store up to four times more moisture than hyaluronic acid, as proven in scientific studies. This leaves the skin instantly looking smoother and more elastic. In addition, PGA can inhibit the activity of the enzyme hyaluronidase, which minimizes the natural hyaluronic acid content, stabilizing and increasing the content of hyaluronic acid in the skin. The combination of the two active ingredients has a synergetic, moisturizing effect. In addition, PGA stimulates the natural moisturizing factors (NMF) and increases its own production to improve the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid synthesis
