Retinol helps to soothe inflammation, removes dead skin cells, and has assisted in making pores appear smaller. It also helps to fight acne while lightening acne scars. While a rosacea sufferer is highly advised to ease into the world of Retinoids, it has been proven to help with the skin condition in the long term.
Retinol (Vitamin A): Vitamin A is an extremely effective skin-transforming ingredient. Research has shown it can help visibly increase the appearance of firmness, diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles, significantly improve uneven skin tone, smooth and refine the surface of skin (includes pores) as well as improve acne and scarring.
Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1: This peptide is combined with wheat and soy proteins. Tripeptide 1 mimics the relationship of the growth factors involved in the healing process and synthesis of collagen I and III, fibronectin and laminin.
Avena Sativa Extract: Avena Sativa Extract contains beta-glucan which forms a fine film on the surface of the skin while penetrating deep into the skin to provide much needed moisturizing. It improves collagen deposition and activation of immune cells within the skin.
Ceramides: Ceramides helps to support and regenerate the skin’s natural barrier, by locking in moisture, thus preventing dryness and irritation.
Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract (Apple Extract/antioxidant): Along with skin tightening properties, Apple Extract is a natural astringent that can refine pores and skin texture.
Hydrogenated Lecithin: Lecithin improves the homeostatasis and barrier function of the skin.
Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract (Licorice Extract): Licochalcone, a molecule contained in licorice root extract, helps balance oil production, calms and soothes inflammation of acne-prone skin.
Arctium Lappa Fruit Extract: Helps protect against chronic tissue inflammation while stimulating collagen synthesis, resulting in improved barrier function and wrinkle reduction.
